Physiotherapy (from the Greek. phýsis nature and therapy), a branch of medicine studying medical properties of physical factors and develops methods of their use for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.

Physiotherapy trigger both nonspecific and specific responses. The latter is due to characteristics of the current factors and the pathological process and provide main therapeutic effect.
