Physiotherapy (from the Greek. phýsis nature and therapy), a branch of medicine studying medical properties of physical factors and develops methods of their use for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.
Physical factors have an effect on the man throughout its evolution; therefore, physiotherapy treatments have on the body more physiological effects than many medicines. Physiotherapy trigger both nonspecific and specific responses. The latter is due to characteristics of the current factors and the pathological process and provide main therapeutic effect. Task F. – to achieve the greatest therapeutic effect with minimal stress on the body by enhancing specific and nonspecific attenuation of the components of the physical factors. For this last is often used in intermittent (pulsed) mode and in small doses. The choice of the factor, its dose and method of use, and combinations of several factors determined by the form and stage of the disease and the condition of the body. Physiotherapeutic tools are most effective in the initial stage of the disease functional disorders. In the complex of therapeutic measures applied to them also. the stages of treatment and medical rehabilitation with the aim of vozdeystviyna certain processes in the body at different levels, including cellular and molecular. We are not talking about the involvement of the Tuva healers to the underworld. Here’s the thing: for the first time by the Ministry of health of RT were given official permission to engage in folk medicine or two doctors. “The first signs” became a Buddhist monk Lopsan Dondup and homeopathic physician Anna Kara-Tonog. But as we have explained in the Ministry of health, these are only the first steps towards development of alternative medicine in the country.
Folk medicine: yesterday and today
In Soviet times, like a few have resorted to the services of healers of the people. This step was hesitant, but tried not to advertise it – people were afraid of ridicule or public censure.
As time goes by, many things change. Today the methods of traditional medicine are recognized by the world health organization. Its even included in the development strategy for 2014 – 2023. In 2014, the Institute of medical and social problems and management of Tuva was organized by the interregional scientific-practical conference. In its framework there were held round tables and master classes, traditional healers took the people and provided them with services of healing. Also were discussed problems of studying and use of natural and biological resources of the Republic and nonconventional methods of treatment. Not spared storonoyu the issue of legalization of traditional medicine, healers have been waiting for this long. The brainchild of the conference was the order № 673 from 6 June 2014 “On the order of lessons in folk medicine and issue resolution on occupation by traditional medicine in the Republic of Tuva”, it was developed by the RT Ministry of health. Deputies of the state Duma in the autumn will contribute to the lower house of Parliament amended an article about folk medicine of the law “On fundamentals of protection of health of citizens of the Russian Federation”. The bill will provide for mandatory certification of folk healers, including homeopaths, herbalists, specialists in Chinese medicine and so on, explained the Chairman of the Duma Committee on health protection Sergei Kalashnikov. It is assumed that to test healers will be self-regulating organization (SRO). They will provide specific specialists licenses and to monitor their activities.
“In these organizations, the professionals will examine each and will be held responsible for every certified healer. If it will cause harm to the patient, such realites will have to exclude from the community and deny a license,” explained Kalashnikov.
The operation of such works will be strictly regulated, he said. Its members will include experts in each area of folk medicine, which, according to Kalashnikov, and will be authorized to issue a license in their field. It and the Chinese medicine, Indian Ayurveda, as well as the Russian national, for example, Buryat traditionalmedicine. “We are working and homeopaths, and herbalists, and even those who treats bee honey, – said the MP. – Folk medicine is now legally permitted, because it does exist, there is experience all over the world.
